Bluegum as a dry fuel is easier to light and as effective in heat provision and burn time efficiency than either Redgum or Mallee Root timber.

Red gum is considered by many to be one of the best firewoods around. Which is why it’s surprising to learn that Blue gum is slightly better.

Benefits of Blue Gum
• generates more heat per volume of firewood
• is a denser wood
• easier to split
• easier to ignite and start burning
• has fewer sparks (great for open fires)
